"Shit. They fell off of the mountain!" Henry exclaimed.

Xander couldn't control the wings of the armour. It was like a reflex for him to naturally be able to control it but now he was falling with the goblin and he couldn't land safely.

They crashed through a a tree, breaking branches as they fell freely.

"Hehehehe." The goblin pushed Xander still with the long chain tied to his wings as it jumped away from him. Xander landed on the floor with a loud bang, making it cave in and making cracks spread around from his location on the earth.

The goblin landed on a tree not far away and the chains retracted, pulling the blade back. It seemed like the goblin was using a magical weapon as that chain shortened by itself with nowhere to store which meant that it was a magical weapon.

"Hehehehehe. This is going to be fun." The goblin mumbled as it waved it's hand which the sword was in and it extended by the chain. The blade flew towards Xander with a great speed but he wasn't lacking either.

Xander heard the sound and rolled to the side before standing up.

'The spear!' He looked around for it and found it on the tree they fell through and with with flap of his wings he reached it in one leap.

"Not so fast!" The goblin lept from the tree it was on towards Xander to stop him but it was too late as Xander grabbed the spear and pulled it off the tree branch before waving it towards the goblin's head with all his force to end it once and for all.

The goblin was shocked but it quickly regained its senses and raised its sword to defend itself.

*Clank!*

*BANG!*

The goblin was thrown away by Xander's immense strength and it smashed its body on a tree, making it cave in weirdly.

"Hehe. Have to retreat. This human is strong–" Before it could say anymore a spear it saw chains launch from Xander towards it and they all had blades, resembling his weapon but with a shorter blade.

It immediately jumped towards Xander. It used it's momentum in the air to hit the chains to the side, making himself not lose his speed.

'This form boosts my strength but I'm not sure if it's worth it.' Xander thought, deactivating the dragonking form and falling to the ground.

There was no tail anymore or wing, just him with full mobility and as the goblin missed him, it couldn't regain its direction sense and just continued falling down.

"You're no match for me." Xander wasn't going to hold back this time as he sent two chains towards the goblin which moved in the air like snakes.

The blades pierced through the shoulders of the goblin, making it let out a horrifying scream.

At that moment the team of five adventurers had just arrived at the scene. Seeing the goblin gasping while being suspended in air, with two chains holding it up which stabbed both of its shoulders, they couldn't help but shudder in fear.

"The shine goblin has terrorized traveller's who pass by the mountain for years. Hundreds of hunters have tried hunting it down but they didn't succeed. And now this stranger that we still don't know where he came from is beating the goblin up." Hex didn't know what to think. His sense of normalcy was shattered by staying with this young man for a few days.

Even the gloomy looking girl had an surprised expression on her face. Their little team had five members, Hex, Henry, Gary, Rebecca and Anne.

Anne rarely speaks. Most of the time she's just nonchalant while doing what she was told but even her, today, couldn't keep a nonchalant expression anymore.

Tears streamed down the goblins eyes as the chains moved it towards Xander slowly. It wasn't able to hold onto it's weapon which slipped from its hand to the ground.

"Please. I don't want to die. It hurts." The goblin looked like it was in a lot of pain as it continued to bleed from where the chains were.

"Ah. But you attacked us first. It was self defence. Besides if you prove to be useful to me, I won't kill you." Xander said with an evil smirk.

"How?" The goblin looked up slowly as it asked but it immediately saw Xander's evil smile and its eyes widened.

"How? By dieing of course." Xander spun his spear along with his body before brandishing with all his force, slicing the goblin's body into two from the waist down.

"Ruthless!" The words slipped out of Anna's mouth, causing the rest of the group that were shocked to be even more shocked.

A screen appeared in front of Xander as he dismissed the chains, letting the corpse fall to the ground.

'Hmm. That's nice.' Xander nodded. 'It had skills with that weapon but it couldn't show it. Probably because it was too weak.'n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Xander took the spear in his left hand as he stretched his right hand in front of him, pointing the body of the goblin.

"What's he doing now?" Henry said and hex didn't answer as he knew that they were in for another surprise.

'This is gonna sound classy as hell.' He cleared his throat. "Arise."

[Do you wish to demonify level 98 Hobgoblin?]

[Yes] | [No]

Xander pressed the [Yes] and as he did that a red flame began to burn the body of the goblin, consuming it in just a few seconds.

"He's burning it? Why would he do that?"

"Shhhh!" Hex shushed Rebecca. "Can't you see that his hand is still stretched out? He's not done yet."

Hearing their leader's words they focused back on the young man who had his hand in front of him.

After a whole minute of burning a figure emerged from the flames and Xander smiled.
