Lord MMORPG: The Demon Progenietor

Chapter 87 Arzon city

Xander was a bit confused about the name of the demon as he had never seen it before.

He looked at the demon that emerged that was a bit shorter than the goblin but was still taller than him by a bit.

It looked like a humanoid crocodile with golden scales running through its body on all parts. It was muscular and its head looked like that of a fantasy dragon but sizeable.

It had a golden tail and was still in the dirty trousers that the goblin wore before.

"Why so different?" Xander mumbled.

The previous transformations of the rest of the demons weren't this drastic so he was kind of confused at the new look.

[Demon Name: None]

[Demon race: Kobold]

[Demon level: level 98]

[Description: Like the goblin, the Kobolds are known for their intense greed and lust for shiny things.]

'I guess that explains it.' Xander thought as he looked at the goblin.

'What's going on?' The goblin thought as he looked at the human in front of him. He couldn't help but feel respect and loyalty to the human, it was uncontrollable.

'I'm very sure he killed me.' The goblin thought. 'Wait, he also said that he won't.'

Suddenly the goblin felt a strong urge to get on his knees. It was like mind control but at the same time it wasn't. 'It's like I want to serve him. No, I want to.' The goblin thought as it knelt on one knee and kept its head down.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

'I thought something was wrong before.' Xander thought.

'Hmm. The name bar is also empty. Why do they all have no... you know what, imma give him one.' Xander pondered.

After a few minutes he said, "Your name shall be Mammon from now on." Xander said with a smile and Mammon nodded before he was consumed by flames and vanished into thin air.

The group of five adventurers walked towards him with hurried steps and they reached Xander's side with wide eyes and began to look around.

'Where did it go?' Hex began to walk in circles in the spot where the demon vanished.

Gary was tracing his fingers on the dragon scale, Rebecca was blushing while avoiding his gaze.

Feeling his spear slipping from his hand he tightened his grip to look and see Gary trying to pull it away while looking at the blade.

Anna looked like she was in deep thought on her own as she stood in one spot.

He suddenly turned the armour back into a ring and Gary was even more amazed.

"Where did it go?" He was bewildered.

Xander immediately brought up his status screen with a thought.

He tapped on his inventory and he saw three slots out of fifty taken and he immediately tapped one.

[Choose item to store in inventory.]

[Ring of knights]

[Dragonscale]

[Bringer of death]

[Worn out shirt]

[Patched shoes]

[Dirty trousers]

Ignoring the rest of the items he was currently wearing he tapped the Bringer of death and it suddenly vanished from his hand, stunning Henry and everyone there.

"Eh, Young man. Your abilities are weird. If you don't mind, would you mind sharing with us what you can do?" Hex asked as he walked forward.

He had a piece of brown hard material. It was glass!

The sand on the ground where that creature vanished turned to glass! HOW?!

Although he was confused he decided to keep quiet and keep on his usual smile.

Seems like the rest of the team wanted to know this too as they all kept quiet and listened in on the conversation.

Xander sighed. "It'll take too long to explain. But you can call me a special type of necromancer," he simply said.

After that they decided to follow the straight path and walk to the city that was a little bit far away from the mountain.

Xander could simply fly there if he wanted but leaving these people behind just like that doesn't sound nice.

Besides, he needed experience points to reach level hundred and gain his last life stone which was worth 24 hours in his world.

It was still something!

As they walked Xander noticed that Rebecca started to talk to him more often, at times moving her hair behind her ear while blushing and sometimes touching him while laughing.

'What I said was not funny! Why are you–! You know what? I don't understand girls anymore.' He thought as he kept up with the conversation.

They talked about themselves and that's when they found out Xander's name.

They encountered a lot of monsters on their way to the city and Xander opted to slay them all since he was in need of exp. It took them a whole two days to finally reach a distance where they could see the city in their Periphery of vision.

Of course they camped at night and walked during the day. Who would work when they are supposed to be sleeping?

Finally getting to the huge gates Xander noticed how medieval the place looked. It wasn't too under-developed like his territory but it was still not as advanced as earth.

There were soldiers at the gate wearing ancient knight armours that he usually see in movies and carriages dragged by horses came out of the gate every now and then.

'Wow. If this was someone's territory then they did a good job at advancing it. Unlike me who was kidnapped before I could start.' Xander had a bitter smile.

As they approached the guards Hex walked forward while bringing something out of his pockets. It was a card with a gold star on it.

"Hex. It's nice to see that you guys made it back from the dragon mountain." A guard shook hands with Hex with a smile.

"I'll tell you about it later. We're tired and need some rest."

"Alright."

Hex then signaled for them to come and as they entered the gates, Xander was immediately stunned by the view.

"Welcome to Arzon city, Xander."
