1257  Attack from The Sky II

One of the passengers hurriedly opened the window curtain and his body jumped in shock at what he saw, with trembling lips he forced a sound out of his mouth then he shouted: "We...we...we..are surrounded by a flock of Wyverns! "

As a reflex, everyone immediately raised their widow shaded then looked out of the window, just like the man said, they were being surrounded by a group of Wyverns gliding majestically on both sides of their airplane, suddenly everyone screamed hysterically, the atmosphere turned panicked, and everyone began to cry and hug each other in fright.

Liam and his female friend's expression became tense, they also looked out the window, wings covered in sharp scales flapped vigorously followed by a high, ear-piercing roar.

"Why are there so many?" Angela's agape.

"Does it matter? they will destroy the entire plane!" Milly accidentally blurted out her thought which only made the people panic even more, they all howled in despair begging the hunter to help them.

"Please save us!"

"We pay you for this, you must save us!"

"DO SOMETHING!"

"We have to do something or we will all die!" Xu Yu bit his lower lip in stress.

"But what can we do?" Milly's voice was shrill

The plane suddenly shook violently causing airplane to become unstable soon after the sounds of alarms rang loudly inside the airplane causing everyone to scream frantically while clenching their hands onto their seats as if it would save them. Tears streamed down their frightened faces by now no one could keep their calm even the professional flight attendants couldn't keep their cool anymore as they screamed as loud as everyone else.

Lory peered to the window then saw dozens of Wyverns flying in an irregular pattern some of them bumped each other as if they were in a rush. "I don't think they targeting the plane" Lory frowned.

Garrof and Lloyd observed the movements of the Wyverns after a while they indeed felt something strange about the Wyverns movement. The Wyvern shove each other as if they running from something the problem is their airplane is in the middle of this flock.

"They seem terrified" Garrof guessed

"What could it be?" Lloyd's voice tightened from anxiety

 "We need to avoid the Wyvern flock first, tell the pilot to lower the plane altitude, perhaps it would work" Lory's voice etched with authority.

"I got it!" Lloyd replies readily and then rushes to the pilot's cockpit.

Lory swept her eyes to the window around her that way she saw numerous Wyvern fly around the airplane, lory then clicked his tongue "we need to find away to get away of this flock, by the way since when have there been this many Wyverns" Lory grumbled.

"Since there aren't many professional Hunters left to hunt," Garrof replies.

The Dark Ages War had claimed many strong soldiers and hunters as a result of which only a few remained but many of them decided to retire.

Suddenly the airplane was jerked by the Wyvern's wings instantly everyone screamed.

Lloyd's voice suddenly came from the loudspeaker in the plane "Pri—uhm, the pilot can't lower the plane when we still surrounded Wyverys, if something wrong he's afraid of crashing the plane into one of these beasts," he regretfully said.

"In short, we all screwed" Garrof cross his arms in front of his chest.

Hearing this, people panicked even more, they screamed and cried, "I don't want to die - I don't want to die, not like this!" shouted one of the male passengers, then he said again "I'm still a virginnnn!"

"Xuyu, you can control the Wyvern, right?" Liam holds the frightened girl's shoulder.

Xuyu's voice quivered "I...I can't control this many beasts..."

"What if I help you?" Angela joins in.

"It's not that I don't want to but even with your help it's impossible, at most with your help I can control two to three beasts," he said weakly.

Lory's expression became uneasy when she heard them pushing Xuyu to exert her strength because Lory knew from Fred how dangerous it was.

"Are you crazy!" Milly snapped, "How can we fight in the sky without wind talismans or the wind gift? How can we fight with a Wyvery in the open sky furthermore you want us to attract the attention of other Wyverns, do you want to kill us?" Milly was sure Lory thought they were stupid.

Lory sighed tiredly still she explained patiently"You can use a parachute before that use a bomb to get out of their encirclement, don't you have a flash bomb or normal bomb work as well when you manage to get away you land somewhere, and then used SOS signal to call someone to pick you up or you can back with your own feet, should I teach you guys everything, really?!" Lory gradually becomes impatient.

Lory was taken aback "I thought they B-clas hunter?" "Yeah, the B-class hunter today ain't like used to, by the way, if I may be rude...may I ask how the hel* you still got pudding in your hands?" Garrof was amazed about how the contents of the pudding remained intact when the plane oscillated so badly.

Lory just realized that he had been talking while holding the pudding, but he didn't let go of the pudding, instead, she spooned another bite a second later her face beamed "Yeah, it's a good pudding"

Shortly afterward, they heard the faint sound of a flute flowing beautifully through the air. The enchanting melody controlled several wyverns closest to the plane a second later the wyverns slowed down shortly after they moved away from the plane, it seemed Xuyu was successful sadly this definitely put a strain on Xuyu's body, who knows what would happen to that young girl after this.

The plane began to lower its altitude away from the encirclement of the flock, the passengers immediately cheered happily thinking they had overcome the crisis.

"Be quiet!" the man with ice blue eyes suddenly shouted, he then growl "It's not end yet..."

Right after he finished speaking a thunderous roar reverberated followed by strong wild winds hitting the plane causing worse violent turbulence even worse than before. Immediately another frantic scream filled the entire plane.

A moment after that, the wyverns that were previously under Xuyu's control realized they were flying in a frenzy as well as the other wyverns, they flew into each other as if they were in a hurry.

Lory finally puts down her pudding right away her whole expression becomes tight as her eyes slowly shift to the window, her brows furrow then she mutters "It's a Balrog"

"Oh boy," Garrof drew a sharp breath.
