Chapter 224
"Can you do it?"
"Mm."
Instead of answering Ethan's question, I examined the mutant monster again.
The creature had the intelligence of a curious child.
Considering that, taming it wouldn't be too difficult. Besides, I already knew what it liked.
'Leonardo would’ve been better. A zombie-type monster, really?'
I hated it, but for now, I decided to follow Ethan's suggestion and give taming a try.
Sniff. Sniff.
From a distance, it started sniffing, as if it had already caught the scent of Elphinus.
I raised the Elphinus high. The creature pinpointed its location and lunged toward us.
Since the hallway was narrow and dimly lit, it would be better to lure it outside for taming. With a nod to Ethan, we took off down the corridor.
"Kwaaak!"
The monster bared its sharp teeth as it charged.
Ethan threatened it just enough with his sword while I shook the Elphinus to keep its attention.@@novelbin@@
We ran through the employee corridor, flung open the door, and entered the department store. At least here, some lights were on, making visibility better.
What do you think?
