Chapter 216
The leader of Sinclair Hotel’s Benton branch, Donal, let out a dry chuckle as he looked at the instigator of the riot. It was someone who had once been his closest follower.
“A riot is one thing, but calling in the monsters to stop the survivors from escaping? That’s outright vile.”
As Donal scoffed, the ringleader merely shrugged.
“If the camp’s population decreases, then there’s no point in me taking over this place, is there?”
Listening to the bastard’s nonsense, Donal recalled the advice Theodore had given him earlier that morning.
“I heard about the riot.”
“We’ll be leaving soon, so we can’t provide direct help, but I do have a piece of advice for you.”
“Just focus on taking down a single person—the leader of the riot. Once he’s taken out, the morale of the others will crumble in an instant.”@@novelbin@@
After saying that, Theodore had gone on to explain the layout of Sinclair Hotel.
“Once you’ve taken down the ringleader, you need to divert the attention of those who joined him before they regain their nerve. There’s someone who knows the structure of this hotel inside and out, and he will explain how.”
“Harrison Howard, Esq. He’s the Sinclair family’s legal counsel and Lady Sinclair’s personal representative.”
That was the moment Donal had finally learned their true identities.
More than that—he had just come face-to-face with the ‘real’ Sinclair connection he’d been searching for.
“Sinclair Hotel has an automatic fire alarm system. Do you see those round objects on the ceiling? Those are the detectors. They trigger when they sense heat and sound an alarm when the temperature surpasses a certain threshold. There’s nothing better to cause a distraction.”
“Oh, and someone has volunteered to assist you. I’ll be leaving one of my people behind here. He should prove useful.”
Recalling Harrison and Theodore’s words, Donal lifted his gaze. Just as Harrison had explained, fire detectors were mounted on the ceiling.
What do you think?
