Chapter 1227: Imbuing elements (4)

With a single thought there were more hobgoblins that suddenly arrived in Puffer's lab.

Puffer had been focused on the hobgoblin that had been imbued with ice elemental energy, trying to figure out how it was able to manipulate the ice elemental energy like this. So she was surprised when she saw that I brought all of these hobgoblins here.

"What are you planning to do?" Puffer asked me with one brow raised.

I didn't answer this question and instead asked a question of my own, "Can you imbue other elemental energy into the orbs?"

Puffer was surprised to hear this question, but she eventually nodded in agreement as she said, "It's not hard to do so, it's just hard to get the other forms of elemental energy." After a pause, she felt like she had to explain, "I can get other forms of elemental energy, but they aren't strong enough to be absorbed by the orb. That's why I've only been using the orbs with ice elemental energy."

It was as if she was exposing herself as she said this, but she still said this without any hesitation.

But I didn't have a problem with this as I said, "Don't worry, I have a way to get you the elemental energy that you need. I'm just curious if you can do it."

Puffer seemed to take this as an insult when she heard this.

The way that she acted was as if I was challenging her ability and intelligence.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"I can do anything you ask for, as long as you give me the resources needed." She said in a fierce voice.

I wasn't insulted and just said with a smile, "Good, I'll be back with your resources in a bit. I hope that you'll be able to do this."

She glared at me as I left, but then she turned back to look at the hobgoblin who was still trying to shoot out icicles. It was as if she completely lost interest in me with the way that she was focused on the hobgoblin.

I shook my head with a smile on my face, but I didn't say anything as I walked out.

When I came back, I was surrounded by Moon and several other elves.

They were the ones that I had chosen to provide the elemental energy.

Elves had a high affinity for mana in the first place and Moon and the elves that followed her trained properly with their mana to use all kinds of different spells. They would be able to provide the elemental energy that was required for this.

It turned out that I had completely underestimated how much elemental energy the orb was able to absorb.

"Did you really think that it was that easy? Do you know how many potions I used to get those orbs into that state?" Puffer said with a sneer on her face.

Three black lines appeared on my forehead when I heard this, but I didn't say anything as I had the elves continue casting their spells at the orb in the middle of them. The spells that hit the orb were all absorbed by the orb and there were traces of elemental energy that appeared in the center of the orb.

It was just that it never filled up the orb like Puffer had done with the other orbs.

It seemed like the elves would run out of mana before they were able to fill up these orbs with how slow it was going.

So I came forward and offered my mana to them.

I knew that it wouldn't help that much, but it was better than nothing.

It would at least let me recover a bit of the face that I lost.

But to my surprise...

"What is this pure mana? How do you have this much mana?"

The elves were all shocked when they received a share of the mana that I gave them.

I was also surprised that they would treat my mana as something special like this.

After all, in the past, I had very little mana to begin with.

It was to the point where I was even fainting from using the Staff of Earth for a while.

It was only through training with the Staff of Earth that I had been able to reach a certain point where it wasn't considered embarrassing.

I didn't think that it was that impressive at all.

When they heard this, the elves looked at me with shock.

Moon said with a chuckle, "Only you don't know how special your mana is. It's a kind of mana that no one else would have, that's why it's much more powerful than ordinary mana."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked in a confused voice.

Moon raised her hand and condensed a bit of mana for me to see.

I didn't feel that there was anything special about this until she had me condense my mana as well.

It was only when they were side by side that I felt that something was off.

The mana that had been gathered was the same amount and it felt like it was the same from a distance. It was only when one focused on the two balls of mana that they would realize

something.

The mana that I gathered was much stronger than the mana that Moon gathered.

It was only when it was used that it would show its strength.

"Your mana is purer than anything that we've seen before. It could even be considered divine with how pure it is." Moon explained in a simple tone while the other elves nodded in

agreement.

I thought that my mana was actually weak, but it turned out that this wasn't the case.

Was this the effect of training my mana with the Staff of Earth the entire time?

Could it be that it had this kind of purifying effect on me?

If it did, then one could only say as expected of a divine relic.

With the pure mana that I gave them, the elves found it much easier to fill the orbs.

In no time at all, the orbs were filled with different forms of elemental energy.
