Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Perhaps Matthew’s appearance made him forget that the kick he had just received was not one that a mere lanky young man could deliver, so, although his axe crossed as he intended, the next thing he saw was how the same axe bounced off the ground and struck his head ferociously.

The blow was tremendous, so much so that it made him bleed and fall back several steps. "What? How the hell did it bounce?" as he brought a hand to his head and noticed the blood flowing from the wound he had made, he quickly looked down and then noticed that the young man had brought his sword all the way down, and this served as a bouncing springboard.

Matthew smiled, "Even though I only have 4 hits left, indirect attacks I’ve seen that they don’t affect my skills. So, making you hit yourself is naturally what I’ll start with." He grinned, confusing the man who called himself Demonic Axe Mountain.

Considering the size of that guy, it made sense that he would be called a mountain. Still, it was a title Matthew didn’t care for.

He raised his hand and pointed his sword at him. "I’ll only use 4 strikes to kill you. Let’s see what you can do, Little Mountain." He sneered, causing a few veins to show on this guy’s face.

His face contorted with anger, but he breathed. "Young people these days are really arrogant. It’s been hundreds of years since the last time someone said something like that to my face. I’d really like to see... What gives you so much confidence?" He clenched his axe with hatred and got into a fighting stance, holding his heavy axe with one hand over his shoulder.

Matthew grinned. "Heh, I hear the Bauers are masters of melee with exotic weapons. Why don’t you show me? If you manage to kill me, you could make a name for yourself in this world." He spoke. Experience tales at empire

"Oh, right, my name is Matthew Dietrich, by the way."

This last, he said with the intention of provoking him. After all, who didn’t know him at this point?

The Bauer in front of him looked at him in surprise, and his eyes sparkled. "Matthew Dietrich? I see, it’s you." A strange smile formed on his face, and he almost laughed out loud before answering again. "Haha... So today, I’m getting a huge reward. Hahahahaha..." In the end, he couldn’t help but laugh out loud before leaping forward with astonishing speed, despite his great weight.

Matthew jumped to meet him. He was carrying a speed even faster than that guy’s, and his sword swung hard toward his right eye, alarming Bauer.

’Shit, he’s too fast.’ With nothing else to do, he activated his Vampire Mark. A mark of, quite simply, appeared on his face, increasing his power drastically. At the same time, he swung his axe towards the dagger, seeking to strike it and move it away from his face.

This made Matthew smile. He immediately changed his lunge. He stopped his movement instantly and held his sword with his palm using Control and with the edge down.

At the same time, he used his Ice Power to create a huge wall of ice behind him.

The next moment, the blow from the axe hit the sword, and although it was powerful enough to send Matthew flying, it only caused him to drive hard into the wall of ice behind.

His sword again created a ricochet effect, and that guy hit his head ferociously. Dizziness struck his body.

Matthew seized the moment to cast that movement skill he had obtained from the Spirit Essence to grab acceleration as he moved forward. He hadn’t put his sword away either, but now he held it with the edge to one side as if he wanted to strike a blow with his fist.

At that moment, the strength of his fist had reached an astonishing milestone, and that man’s head turned to a pulp on contact. The blood that emerged from the neck stained it, but Matthew didn’t care.

He smiled and watched the staggering body fall back lifelessly.

Immediately, his two abilities were activated...

’Finally, it’s the moment of truth.’ He smiled. While he might be down to 99,999 power and would have to search for one more, he had a feeling that that wouldn’t happen this time.

Blood from the lifeless body of the Demonic Axe Mountain began to flow out and quickly gathered around Matthew’s body. It quickly entered his body and became, once again, a ball of blood there.

At this very moment, Matthew began to feel things he could not feel before.

His body began to work at high speed, like vampirism. All the blood that had just entered his body was immediately purified. One part of this blood was transformed into vampiric power; the other part was wrapped up in that place like a ball.

His senses were suddenly heightened, allowing him to feel large portions of the earth around him. Even his vision had drastically improved.

But most striking was the change in his perception of the world and his understanding of his abilities, which reached an astonishing milestone.

’This is...’ Matthew quickly grabbed the vampire ball and tested his power. He felt a fantastic surge that prevented him from being able to think of so many new things in his mind.

Soon after, the result was shown.

His eyes sparkled, and he couldn’t even blink. It was a staggering number... It was finally there.

He had managed to surpass the 99,999 Power threshold; he even received 1 additional power point in such a short time.

Happiness overflowed in him, and he couldn’t hide it. Still, there were too many things on his mind to think about because there were several noticeable changes.
