Primordial Draconic Incubus With A Gourmet Chef System

Chapter 81 Moon Grove Forest's Transformation

'What was that dark purple mist that covered his body?' Fenwick wondered.

After a moment, he continued in a gentle voice, "Also, you don't need to enter the Secret Realm like the residents of this city. Even after… what happened in the past… because of your identity, you can easily enter the Holy Ground of the Royal Vale Family."

However, Lily shook her head and said adamantly, "No, Lily has decided to enter the Secret Realm with Big Brother Lucian."

"Old man, you don't have to worry about Lily's safety. A Secret Realm isn't as scary as you think." Lucian said as he just happened to hear their conversation after exiting the kitchen.

'I'm not worried about the Secret Realm. I'm more worried that you will harm her.' However, Fenwick did not say it out loud.

"Big Brother Lucian, are we leaving now?" Lily asked excitedly, her beautiful pink eyes sparkled with anticipation.

"Mm, let's go," Lucian replied, and then left his restaurant with Lily and Fenwick following behind him.

"Big Brother Lucian, you forgot to turn off your restaurant's lights and lock the door." Lily reminded him when she saw him walking away.

Lucian stopped his steps, turned around, and pointed at the interior of his restaurant. "I didn't forget."

Then, he continued walking to the city gates.

Lily turned to see the restaurant, and to her surprise, the lights were already off.

"What!? When did the lights turn off?" Lily exclaimed

*Swish* *Woosh*

'...' The next second, to her further shock, she watched as the window curtains closed by themselves.

"It was probably done by Runic Symbols," Fenwick explained, though his tone lacked confidence.

Lucian smirked slightly as he watched their reaction with Mana Sense. However, he did not explain.

[Can you not use the System as a servant, please?] The System asked after turning on the alarm system, turning off the lights, locking the door, and closing the curtains!

[I'll think about it.] Lucian responded without stopping his feet from moving forward.

[Also, is there a way to enter the Spatial Farm without me having to use the Spatial Gateway?]

[There is a method. However, only the Host's Soul will enter while your physical body will remain outside. Due to the potential danger that it could pose, the System does not recommend using it.]

[Hmmm.]

A few minutes later, they arrived at the city gates, where fifteen people had already gathered.

Instantly, their gazes turned in their direction as they began whispering.

"I wonder who they are."

"I want to know how strong they are."

'Why can't you all just stay home? Why do you have to needlessly make my life difficult?' Lucian mused.

The more people from his Territory entered the Secret Realm, the more difficult it would be to protect them. Especially, if after entering the Secret Realm they were transported to different places.

After exiting the city gates, Lucian was speechless when he noticed vendors selling life-saving treasures on both sides of the road.

"Carriage for sale!" A middle-aged Human vendor shouted from beside a golden carriage.

Suddenly, his eyes widened in excitement when he spotted the three figures who even Ancestor Jie bowed to and respectfully spoke to.

'This is my chance!' Unlike the other residents, he was more self-aware of his capabilities. Instead of entering the Secret Realm and dying, he decided to use the Secret Realm to make money without even entering.

Immediately, he ran to them and after arriving five feet away from them, respectfully bowed low so as to not offend them.

"Young Master, how can someone of your status walk on the dirty ground!?" He dramatically spoke and continued, "How about taking a ride on my carriage?"

[Is he another long-lost twin brother of yours, Host?] The System said, leaving Lucian speechless.

After a shake of his head, Lucian turned to Lily and asked, "What do you think? Should we rent a carriage?"

However, the middle-aged man became flustered and quickly clarified, "No, no, no. My services are free of charge for your Excellencies."

If others learned that these three mysterious people rode on his carriage, his little carriage business could easily become popular. Mages who cared too much about status loved anything that was used by powerful Mages.

He had even witnessed a toothbrush supposedly used by the beautiful Ancestor Song sell for a Gold Coin at the Thunderfall City's auction house!

"Hmmm." Lily placed her finger on her rosy pink lips and said after a moment of thought, "Okay, let's take a carriage. It will be more fun that way."

"Alright, we'll take you up on your offer, but we'll pay, and that's not negotiable," Lucian said after seeing how poorly dressed the middle-aged man was.

"T-this… Okay. It will be five Bronze Coins." The middle-aged man gave in while feeling genuine respect for the young man.

"Lily, do you have five Bronze Coins? I only carry Mana Stones." Lucian asked her.

"Mm." Lily nodded. After a moment, she handed five Bronze Coins to the middle-aged man.

"Thank you, Miss." He stowed the Bronze Coins into his pocket and then respectfully signaled them to enter his carriage.

"Your Excellencies, please enter."

They nodded in acknowledgment and entered the carriage, which contained a table with two seats on either end.

Once they sat down, a familiar voice resounded within the carriage.

"Your Excellencies, I will now start moving the carriage."

"Okay," Lily said.

Immediately after Lily spoke, the middle-aged man lightly tapped his whip against the horse, signaling it to move.

And although it was just a regular horse, it dashed off, pulling the carriage along with it, kicking dust up behind.

As the carriage moved down the path, Lucian closed his eyes and relaxed.

Lily gazed out of the window with excitement, taking in everything.

"It's been so long since Lily has seen the world outside of Thunderfall City," Lily said after a while with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"Haah." Fenwick sighed after hearing Lily's words.

Then he said with a profound gaze directed at Lucian, "Maybe this is actually a good opportunity."

"Uncle Fen, what do you mean by opportunity?" Lily asked, tilting her head in curiosity.

"Nothing." Fenwick shook his head.

'If Lily continues being happy and cheerful. … I won't intervene anymore.'

Meanwhile, three hundred and fifty miles away, where an eerie forest used to be, there was now an open field of black grass. The sky above was dark red, while below, across the fringes of the open field, thousands of tents of varying sizes were scattered.

In the middle of the field was a single, black, withered tree, and within its now-opened trunk was a swirling black portal.

And around the tree, approximately a hundred feet away, tents were arranged to act as a barrier.

*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Suddenly, from the distance, the sound of clapping resounded becoming louder as the owner of the claps approached.

Soon, the people gathered there were alarmed by the owner of the claps.

She was a graceful woman who appeared to be in her early twenties, with black hair and black vertical reptilian pupils, wearing a red dress revealing a deep cleavage. Her lower body narrowed into a long black tail covered in shimmering red scales that radiated a dangerous black glow as she slithered with grace.

Behind the woman were five young women who had similar appearances to the woman.

"The Yin Family from Lidia Empire!"

"Why would someone from the Empire care about a Secret Realm? They have plenty of Secret Realms under their control."

"It's always better to have more resources than less. Who doesn't want to become stronger than others? Especially, the slippery Naga Race, who are widely known for their insatiable hunger for power and resources.."

"Doesn't that mean we won't even obtain a single resource from the Secret Realm?"

"Normally, that would be true. However, it seems the Yin Family Head only sent his daughter here."

"Clan Head Wang, you are truly a great father. Instead of being at your son's funeral, you are here." Yin Yanming remarked with a hint of mockery in her voice.

"If others were not aware of how much you cherished and loved your dear son, Wang Chen, they might think-" She trailed off suggestively.

However, Wang Ming remained calm even after hearing her provocation.

"Lady Yin, I am here precisely because of my son's death. Though it's regrettable that I cannot attend my son's funeral, I must be here."

Yin Yanming raised her slender eyebrows and asked if she was genuinely curious, "Oh, and why must you be here? Surely, your precious son's funeral is more important than a Secret Realm, no?"

She sighed and then continued, "I wonder what little Wang Chen would think if he knew his very own father didn't attend his funeral?"

"Would he be devastated by the news? Understanding of his father's decision? Or would he feel it was as expected?"

"What do you think, Clan Head Wang? After all, he is your son."
