Cursed Villainess’ Obsession

Chapter 126

A place filled with the scent of sweat, blood, and iron on a cold stone floor.

That was the defining characteristic of where I was currently imprisoned.

[Uwaaahhh!!]

Cheers from countless people echoed faintly from outside, accompanied by the clashing of metal. And finally, the inevitable sound that followed:

Splat━!

“Kkhaaahhh!”

The sound of flesh being torn apart, followed by a scream.

‘…What should I do?’

I was in the underground prison of the Perion arena, where a brutal battle to the death raged above.

Some might euphemistically call it a "waiting room," but from here, through a window that reminded me of a semi-basement apartment, I watched the blood-soaked duels unfold in the vast arena.

‘Why… how did it come to this?’

My head was in turmoil. I was just an ordinary young man from South Korea.

Yet, when I opened my eyes, I found myself in an unfamiliar body—a strikingly handsome one at that—and trapped in this place.

“Next, number 2744.”

A disinterested voice called out from beyond the iron bars, resonating through the dim corridor. The rusty screech of moving metal followed, along with the sound of heavy footsteps.

Thud. Thud.

Or were they footsteps?

The sound was too heavy to be human. It felt as if the noise could only be produced by three grown men stomping in unison while carrying an immense burden. Unconsciously, I swallowed hard.

The reason for such weighty steps soon became apparent when I watched the ensuing match.@@novelbin@@

‘Is that really a human?’

A towering figure, easily exceeding two and a half meters in height, stepped into the arena. His massive frame wasn’t bloated with fat but seemed armored with pure muscle, like a Viking from the movies—but scaled up to twice the size.
