Chapter 109 – Berior kingdom – Part 2.
After getting to the Zebra city and gathering bit of information about the current situation in the kingdom as well as popular location where there is a lot of players around, I found a nice location called Wolf…...Huh…. I looked bit into it and apparently each town and city in this kingdom is named after animal?
Anyway, Wolf, is a city where a lot of monsters are present as well as several mines, meaning that this place is kind of like Dawn city, but with bigger focus on monsters.
Not only that, but apparently the town is under the control of the second prince faction as well as the fact that there are a lot of players gathering here, even if they don't belong to the second prince faction.
I will open up my business there while also hunting monsters and conducting experiments.
The distance between the Zebra and Wolf cities is quiet long, so while traveling I inspected the stuff I had stolen and obtained from the royal castle.
The first was the crown from the king. [Crown Of Agion Kingdom]. It's anything special…. It has only high rarity gemstones on it…. I could sell it…No. That would straight up expose me. I mean, I straight up would say that I killed the king! So, yea… I will hold onto this for now and maybe either sell it illegally as Doctor or just dismantle it…. But I think it's better if I sell it illegally.
There were also few other interesting things that were stored in that castle, like some ceremonial sword that is quite good alone as weapon as well as some very rare gemstones and mana stones that I could use for crafting.
And beside this…. Well…. There was this.
[Class Book: Metal Mage]
[Rarity: Epic]
[A class book that contains the knowledge regarding the class called [Metal Mage].]
[The [Metal Mage] is a class that specialist in control of metal magic and how to handle it.]
[Upon use, unlock access to the [Metal Mage] class, allowing you to learn it.]
I…... I wasn't expecting to FIND THIS!
Not only that, but there were 3 whole copies of this book in the vault! Holy fuking shit!
Honestly, it came to me later, but I remember Evilin talking about the royal family and them being in the past the warriors of steel… Now kind of get why.
But after things calmed down several decades ago, the next member of the royal family rarely fought on front lines and stuff, so pretty much those things were left behind or were given out as rewards to the noble families. I think you could even earn those books if you increase your favorability with the royal family and they would just give you as present or they would give you a quest where you would complete it and get this thing.
But I think there will be no quest like that, since I well… Killed the members of the royal family and I don't think there is anybody left…. I think.
Well, this is an epic rarity book and not some sort of, unique or legendary one, so I think you can get [Metal Mage] somewhere else as well and there is also the fact that I have several copies of it, so its not like "Only One", like my [Chaos Researcher] who is straight up possible only class out here with this unique mechanic.
There is also the fact two other facts.
The first is the class book description.
It doesn't says anything about the Agion kingdom or royal family.
And not only that, but I somewhat remember description of the class book I used to get the [Chaos Researcher].
[The Class Book Of The Forgetful Researcher]
[Rarity: Common]
[A book that was written by the desperate August Davone Von Darum who was well know researcher of the Rose tower before being branded as the traitor and the terrorist.]
[The book was a mean of creating a new class that would help out the researcher in restoring himself, however before he could use the power of the class, he forgotten everything, leaving this as his last creation and masterpiece.]
[Upon use: Acquire special class: [Chaos Researcher – Rarity: Common (Grow)].]
The difference in text is extremely visible, no matter how I look at it. So, I don't think that the [Metal Mage] is a special exclusive class to the Agion kingdom.
As for the second reason, it was easy. I just asked around.
It took bit of time, but I managed to find a bit of info from the alchemy shop owner who said something about metal magic being possible used by the magic towers. I don't know if his information is real or not, but I think it may be confirmed something?
Either way, I don't think I will be the only one with this class with the future.
And as for the class book I had? I straight up used one of these books on me and learned epic rarity class [Metal Mage] as well as infested some of the class points I had yet to distribute.
Well, the only downside with the epic class is that it eats way more class points than common or uncommon class, but there was no need to worry, since I had shit tons of points on me.
Not only that, I'm extremely curios about that class for many good reason, one of the main reasons being me being the cyborg. I wondered if I could…. Well, power up the cyborg part?
Anyway, I learned few new skills and I will explain 3 skills I obtained.
[Metal Shot]
[Metal Skin]
[Metallic Reinforcement]
The first skill I learned was [Metal Shot], its an offensive skill that fire the ball of iron towards the enemy, it's not very impressive skill, but it can somewhat hit hard, since its just an iron ball being launched towards enemy.
The next skill is [Metal Skin] and its enchantment skill that strengthen the user defense and the equipment while also providing the small durability reduction to items that are worn by the user.
The last skill I will explain is [Metallic Reinforcement].
This skill is like [Metal Skin], where it reinforces the user, but to be more specific it reinforces specific body part or weapon that is directly held by the user, boosting the power and defense of the object or the body part.
The metal mage is about… Well, metal. The same goes to all other skills I didn't talked about.
And here is the nutshell info about the [Metal Mage] class as a whole.
The [Metal Mage] focuses on two things. Self-buffing and the defense where both of them can also be used for offense.
Honestly speaking, this class SUCKS ASS for normal mages that focuses on just long range magic attacks.
It's more a class that is useful for warriors, rouges and even maybe archers since they can use it to enchant their bows with it, but for the regular mages? It sucks ass! Why the hell this class is even called mage…. Well, it does use metal magic and stuff…. Never mind.
But for me? Well, this class works? I mean, it works WAY too perfectly for my cyborg modification!
I mean… WHY THE HELL, I GET IT NOW?! If I knew they had something like this, I could have wrecked Dawn and the capital city way easier!
….
Well, I only learned about their existence recently, so there is no use complaining.
Still, I think I will be using that class a lot.
The question is: What should I use with two remaining class books?
Should I post them on auction? They will be definitely sell for a lot…. Honestly, I don't really see a reason to hold onto those things.
I can sell things anonymously, meaning that even if they do realize that "Doctor" was one sold the books, who the fuck would do anything. I mean, the people that would bought wouldn't know and stuff.
Hm…... Yea, I don't really see any downsides to selling those things.
If somebody strong uses them, then they will become strong…. I should also pitch in the description of the class made by me that reveals the strong and weak points of the [Metal Mage] class, since it may end up alluring a lot of people! People would look at those books with bigger interested after getting some solid information, instead of using it later on and finding out it does not fit them at all.
Yea, it will give me a lot of money.
As for the other stuff I had obtained…. They were at least, okay? I mean, they were just straight up valuables and money, so pretty much only class book and gemstones were the only good things.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
But oh well, I'm more than satisfied. They may have been one of the weakest kingdoms, but they were kingdom in the end of the day.
Anyway, the time went by and I had finally managed to the Wolf city.
And I got to say this from get go. WOW.
That city was way bigger than capital city or Dawn city…... I wasn't expecting that… I mean I did heard news that this place is big and everything, but holy!
Not only that, but it was swarming with players just like info said.
And unlike before, there wasn't a huge amount of orcs, goblins, undeads and dark elf players, but instead all sort of dwarfs, forest elves, dark forest elves and beastmans.
The entire city was lively in many different ways, there was even something called monster colosseum where people fight monsters for rewards.
Honestly…. This city is interesting…... No.
Many of the cities in this world are interesting!
The danger city of Draman and the city located inside the mountain, Dawn. Both of those places were beautiful in their own way to the point you could say charming and captivating. And there is also the fact that both of them were special in their own way.
Honestly speaking…. HOLY SHIT! Who the hell designed this?
No wonder people would like to get hit with Truck-kun and get isekaied and stuff.
But enough about the city looking interesting and stuff.
The other important fact about this city is that there is a lot of players in here like mentioned before, but not only that but also multiple guilds are using this place as their base.
I will use them.
I will use those guilds and players in the city as my clients in order to run my business.
And while using them, I will buy materials while also conducting my own various experiments behind the scenes while in between also hunt some monsters myself to level up.
But first thing first, I need to take a look around and find a good building I can use both as workshop and my shop.
