The medical director spoke with tears in his eyes.

Immediately after subduing Gojinseong, the Fire Serpent, we headed to the sample storage with the medical director instead of clearing out the remaining members of the organization or freeing the hostages.

The safety of the medical staff was a separate issue from the start. Saving more medical staff wouldn’t yield any additional rewards.

These guys are pretending to be innocent victims now, but they are actually the villains who conducted inhumane experiments on humans.

The nanomachines they developed neutralize tech bodies. As they needed subjects with tech bodies for their experiments, they conducted illegal tech body surgeries on social outcasts like refugees and vagrants, then injected them with nanomachines for clinical trials.

Later, it was revealed that 40 people had perished during these experiments.

Among the captured medical staff, none could claim innocence in the face of such tragic deaths.

"Here are the remaining samples. You can take these."

The medical director took out the samples from the cryogenic vault, which was secured with a triple lock. The problematic samples were stored in special containers maintained at ultra-low temperatures.

I subtly nodded, and Ha'an carefully received the container.

We successfully secured our objective. If we report this to Seo Ik-gyeong, the police forces currently waiting outside will storm in and wipe out the remaining members of the Cheongsa faction.

In the process, a few hostages might be sacrificed, but isn't that just karma? I'm not someone with enough time to save every single one of those people.
