Chapter 752: Misjudged

(Present moment, Bernabeu City)

“So what’s the plan now?” PinkLotus inquired, now that both the Duke and Cervantez had been neutralized.

“To be honest…. I don’t really care about winning Bernabeu City. We can help the WhiteSabers out if we want, I reckon it would be a good leveling exercise for you two, but other than that, I have no other objectives left to fulfill–” Leo said, as he simply shrugged his shoulders and expressed his indifference to this war.

Glancing towards Luke, PinkLotus waited for his decision, as Luke once again gripped his sword and shield and seemed prepared for action.

“Yeah, I could use some levels” he said, as he signalled his desire to continue fighting, for which PinkLotus joined him happily.

The four proceeded to part ways then, with Luke and PinkLotus going their way and Leo and Dumpy their own, however, all four of them left a trail of dead bodies in their wake.

(Meanwhile on the global forums)

The news of Cervantez’s death spread like wildfire through the forums, as he suddenly lost 3 levels at once.

“Even Cervantez has fallen to ‘TheBoss’, can anyone stand against that man?”

“I don’t think Cervantez fell to ‘TheBoss’, I saw a video of him fighting SkyLion, the ex- vice guild master of DarkSky. Here let me attach a link to that cam video (here)”

“Whoa! It’s crazy to see that the ex vice guild master of the DarkSky guild is so much stronger than their actual guildmaster…. No wonder he left, he was more fit to lead the guild than his senior”

“With ‘TheBoss’, PinkLotus and SkyLion working together, does anyone else stand a chance? The three of them together are literally the 1,2,3 of the world”

“The Boss entering the war single-handedly changed the tides of the war for Bernabeu. This is no longer a fair game.

For a moment, I believed that the West could become a sanctuary for the righteous faction players…. That we could all perhaps rally behind the DarkSky guild and hope for protection against the uprising, however, TheBoss just showed how it was nothing more than a stupid dream.

As long as he’s alive, nobody can stop ‘TheBoss’,”.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

“The West is going to fall…. The center is going to fall, the north is in a civil war and the south and east are already captured. The righteous faction is doomed, we picked the wrong side”.

“Can we still rectify our mistake? Can we still jump ship and join the rebels? I don’t want to fight for this losing faction anymore …”

There was sheer panic on the global forums related to the war in the west, as although Leo never intended to strike fear into the heart of his enemies, he accidentally did something he could never ever have anticipated himself.

(Meanwhile ChaosBringer)

“BRILLIANT…. LORD BOSS IS SIMPLY BRILLIANT” ChaosBringer cheered, as he threw up all the battle plans he had drawn into the air, as if they did not matter anymore.

“How can someone be so intelligent? How can someone be so ingenious? I’m nothing compared to My Lord…. Not even a speck of dust worth mentioning” ChaosBringer said, as he held his face between his palms and blushed like a newlywed wife on the first wedding night.

“Leader…. Leader, have you seen the comments on the global forums? Thousands of righteous faction players now wish to defect to the uprising. There are open inquiries for recruitment… what are your orders?” An underling asked, as ChaosBringer happily skipped his steps towards the underling and held both his hands in joy.

“Do you even understand what’s going on here? Can you filthy mortal even comprehend the godliness of God Boss?” ChaosBringer asked, as the underling simply tilted his head in confusion.

“Dance with me…” ChaosBringer commanded as he began to jump and turn while holding hands with the underling, while laughing like a maniac.

There was an expression of pure bliss on his face as he danced around with the underling, as he looked to be fast approaching orgasm.

“I was stupid…. I questioned Lord Boss and his decision to go to the west as an unnecessary risk…. I thought the Lord was being stubborn in his desire to punish the Western Weaklings, but I could never understand his true motives” ChaosBringer began, as the underling tilted his head in confusion.

“If it were up to me, I’d have requested Lord Boss to join me in the central campaign, to help me capture StrongHaven, however, he’s much smarter than me.

He went to the west, because he knew that it was the last backbone of the righteous faction players and he deliberately dismantled it.

Currently, I can just open the gates of recruitment for defectors into ‘TheUprising’, promising them bogus rewards if they rebel and open the gates of their town/ city for us, and sweep the battlefield without a major fight.

He’s broken their backbone and has stolen any hope of victory, he’s a genius beyond our wildest imaginations” ChaosBringer said, as he suddenly felt weak to his knees and buckled onto the floor, much to the worry of the underling.

“Such a mastermind…. And yet he behaves so humbly around me…. Never teaches me how to fight a war, when he can probably do the same job a hundred times better.

I’m sure this world looks like a chess board to him, but I’m definitely a piece he treasures dearly.

Oh my Lord Boss…. Your magnificence is truly blinding” ChaosBringer said, as he rolled around on the floor while giggling, looking like a completely mentally deranged person.

“So… what are your orders?” The underling asked, as ChaosBringer got back to his feet and straightened his robe.

“The Lord has done so much for us already, it would be a shame to not deliver StrongHaven for him by the time he returns….”

“Listen carefully soldier, this is the plan….” ChaosBringer began, as his eyes turned sharp and focused once again.
