A total of 15 people who were in intense combat suddenly found a spike that pierced them from the head and emerged from their nether region. It just appeared within their body and they couldn't even resist due to its offense that overpowered them.

But they didn't even get time to feel pain because the spike that pierced them shone and instantly disintegrated their bodies. However, the spikes still remained in the air, floating mencingly.

Erix waved his hand as those spikes appeared before him and nodded, 'All of their bodily essence and power is sucked in this….Interesting. So I can indeed use the void's aspect to turn things into this void pulse, the essence of nothingness—a potent energy source birthed from the things it disintegrated.'

The potency of the void pulse was determined by the things it disintegrated. As such, these fifteen Empyrean powerhouses together gave an abundant amount of void pulse.

If Erix used this to boost a skill, it would become significantly more powerful.

Erix combined the spikes into an orb of void pulse and contained it within a Void Metal he created in his Metal World. If he used any other metal, it would automatically disintegrate by the void pulse.

After he was done, Erix entered a challenge spot, beginning his power-up rush again.

On top of a small mountain peak behind a forest,

"Ragna, what do we do? Two of our Elites died," Grace said with a somber expression. "You have to do something to get us ahead."

"Call others after they are done with whatever they are doing," Ragna said with a placid expression, his eyes closed. "I'm done for today, so we'll have a meeting for day 3."

"Be a leader and come with us for an Event after the meeting," Grace said with a pout. "We are going there, and we have to win it. We didn't get the first rank in both Events we tried today."

"Then get powerful! You guys are slow," Ragna narrowly opened his eyes. "What are you doing with Wish rewards from challenges? A single wish reward should be enough to get any element or concept to the peak!"

"Useless," Ragna closed his eyes. "Go now. Don't disturb me. I can't waste my time with you all when I can progress faster alone."

"I'm here to take the top spot in this game, not babysit you all."

Strange clouds started looming over the mountain peak as Ragna's aura started changing, with dreamy and colorful lightning bolts strangely and slowly dancing around him.

Grace didn't dare to say anything more and left while sighing.

'They are not as determined as you, Ragna. They have no ambition to reach the top of this game, so they are wasting their effort on getting upset.'

Grace's eyes turned cold, 'This can't go on.'

She contacted her Master after returning to the Throne Hall to adjust something.

[Grace: Master Relani.]

Rin and others finished the event and they got 1st rank on their own this time. However, Nira and Korin could see that they were not in the mood to feel good about their achievement.

Their sole focus was to get strong faster by giving their all and not pulling any punches when it came to putting effort into it.

They used the wish reward they got from Event rewards soon after exiting.

"This group is strange but the most reassuring group I've ever seen," Nira said with a smile. "It's crazy how they are so focused and determined to catch up to Erix. They pull up each other with their intense rivalry."

"Mhmm. They are pulling all stops when it comes to Wish Reward and staking their lives in it," Korin said with a nod while his eyes showed complicated emotions.

"Nira…since when I did start believing that I wouldn't be able to awaken the Time element and give up trying to?" Korin's fists clenched as he continued, his voice hoarse. "I may have given up deep within long ago, but these people…they don't think anything is impossible for them and stake their everything to achieve it."

Nira bit her lips, suddenly feeling frustrated as a certain realization dawned on her.

'I said I am not talented in Principle element and Primordial elements but a prodigy when it comes to Soul path. I've been believing this since my past life…and let this mentality dictate my path?'

She suddenly felt a strange loss within herself.

Her fist clenched and teeth gritted tightly, "Korin, you better awaken Time element and I will also awaken Animus element."

'The element I failed to awaken and led me to my death…I gave up, but not anymore. I am a prodigy in Soul Path. How pathetic it is that I can't awaken Animus element?'
