Chapter 692: Chapter 686: Grandpa’s Return (Middle)
“There isn’t any problem with things such as the ecosystem. However, sir could establish a Temperature Stand Generator. Even if it’s minus twenty degrees outside during the winter, temperatures within your range could stay at a comfortable 26 degrees Celsius. Moreover, it will be an invisible field, unnoticeable by the naked eye. It wouldn’t hinder human or bird activities, but the temperatures would be completely different.” Luna Starfield suggested.
“This might reveal our cards,” Olivia Thatcher remarked.
“His Highness does not intend to hide his cards this time. Currently, our capabilities need not fear any threats,” Luna Starfield retorted confidently.
“That’s right.” Finn Lewis nodded in agreement.
“Sir truly is the most powerful. Even the Galactic Federation cannot limit your development,” Olivia Thatcher stated with a cheeky smile.
“That’s for sure. Now, let’s go down directly. Olivia Thatcher, have a car sent to pick me up,” Finn Lewis suggested after some thought.
“Yes, sir.”
“Luna Starfield, instruct the spaceship to land in the spaceship area of the airport, and activate the stealth system,” Finn Lewis continued.
“Yes, Your Highness.” These two artificial intelligences, one calling him ‘sir,’ and the other ‘Your Highness,’ addressed him based on their own search results, giving Finn Lewis a sense of dominance.
When Finn Lewis’s spaceship landed, it did not raise any alarms. Its optical stealth system allowed it to perfectly conceal itself, eliminating the risk of detection. When Finn Lewis disembarked, the Goddess of Light car, controlled by Olivia Thatcher, was already waiting outside.
Finn Lewis got into his car, followed swiftly by two more cars. After returning to Earth, his T1000 bodyguards resumed their protection duties. Although Finn Lewis had redeemed 10 newer robots, he hadn’t collected them yet.
What Finn Lewis brought back were only the items stored inside the ring on his hand. He hadn’t collected the rest of his belongings yet.
“Where’s Kay Lee?” Finn Lewis asked as soon as he got in the car.
“Sir, Miss Kay is in our newly built headquarters,” Olivia Thatcher responded immediately.
“Is it completed already?”
“Construction of the entire park isn’t complete yet, but part of the factories is. Also, our head office building is essentially operational now,” Olivia Thatcher reported.
“Good. Give me a brief on our progress during my absence,” Finn Lewis nodded. Although he had been gone for three months, the affairs were managed by intelligent robots. For the Virtual World Corporation, three months is a significant period of development.
“Yes, Your Highness, we have fully occupied 60% of Proudshire. We have sixty thousand troops in our army across land, air, and sea. The population in our territory is sixteen point eight million, amongst whom two point two million are indigenous, five point two million are immigrants from the six-dimensional world, and the remaining are immigrants from Flame Nation,” Luna Starfield replied.
“Why are you the one answering?” Finn Lewis exclaimed in surprise.
“Hehe, it’s because I currently manage the affairs of sir’s company, and Luna Starfield handles matters related to territories. Besides, unless you’re off Earth, I’m in charge of your personal life,” Olivia Thatcher explained cheerfully.
“Alright then,” Finn Lewis shrugged.
“Sir, are you dissatisfied with my report?” Luna Starfield asked teasingly. Finn Lewis was speechless. You two are just AI programs, but you talk as though you’re humans.
“I’m satisfied, I’m satisfied. But what’s the meaning behind the Flame Nation immigrants?” Finn Lewis asked curiously.
“Recently, we inked an agreement between our sides, providing a complete passport exemption. Living here is no different from within Flame Nation, although the regulations vary slightly. Residents living here for five years earn a permanent residence status. The Flame Nation officials have not obstructed this.” Luna Starfield stomped back into seriousness.
As for how it knew about these, Finn Lewis didn’t care to find out. All it needed was to exchange data directly with Olivia Thatcher, which wasn’t problematic.
“Alright, the situation appears rather simple for now. How’s the situation in Belmare Country?” Finn Lewis raised his eyebrow in question.
“The threats of the virus and that ancient beast-like species have been eradicated. However, as all the criminals are being dispatched here, the domestic situation in Belmare Country has completely deteriorated. There seem to be no state powers left and chaos reins. This aligns perfectly with your plan, Your Highness. However, I feel you have gone to great lengths to make it so when you could have simply obliterated this land,” Luna Starfield answered.
“That’s too direct,” Finn Lewis shook his head.
“Sir, someone is harassing Miss Kay. Would you like to teach him a lesson?” Olivia Thatcher asked in an excited tone.
“Harassment?” Finn Lewis raised his eyebrows. So, someone dared to harass Kay Lee even though he had only been away for three months. Was it a death wish?
“Yes, the person-and seems to have a powerful background. But it’s nothing for sir. How dare he court our dear Miss Kay! Should we teach him a lesson?” Olivia Thatcher asked rapidly.
“A powerful background? Who is it to be so arrogant?” Finn Lewis smirked. Now, anyone discussing such matters with Finn Lewis was simply courting death. Not to mention the common second-generation elites whose power metered from their families. Now, not even leaders of various nations are given any consideration by Finn Lewis.
“Named Woodson Wood. His family is said to be very powerful once, with many state-run corporations under their control, and can influence the state’s policies to some extent,” Olivia Thatcher added with a smile.
Finn Lewis smirked, “Alright, give me a navigation guide. I’m not familiar with the routes here yet.” Following his words, a guide symbol appeared before him. Finn Lewis stepped on the accelerator, and the powerful engine of the Goddess of Light instantly boosted the car’s speed. The vehicle turned into a luminous flash and sped towards the destination.
Soon, towering skyscrapers came into Finn Lewis’s sight. If the buildings in other cities seemed high-end, the buildings here sure had a strong sci-fi vibe. Most architectures were made of fully transparent glass, truly seamless. The designs were irregular, looking slightly peculiar. But to Finn Lewis, it didn’t matter as these architectures were designed by Olivia Thatcher. It didn’t matter what they looked like once built.
