He had been fooled by Tian Xun's seemingly gentle and wealthy appearance, but now he suddenly realized that Tian Xun was not quite what he had imagined.

Tian Xin wasn't as gentle, though. The Heartless Angel transformed into a flurry of feathers, severing the limbs and tendons of those Night Ghosts.

After getting everyone inside the room, Tian Xun then reined in her power. Upon returning to Paradise Palace, she said to Kong Chuan, "I need to step out with the Chief of the Heavenly Institute. Leave this place to you and Tian Xin. Make sure no one finds out we were gone."

"Dean, Sky Star Lord, rest assured," Kong Chuan nodded.

Tian Xun grabbed Lin Shen and flew into the sky. Under that terrifying speed, Lin Shen felt his body pressed forcefully against Tian Xun, unable to separate even an inch.

Only when Tian Xun landed did Lin Shen realize they had arrived near the Chi 118 castle.

The situation here was just as dire, with the battle still raging on. The seas were tumultuous with the collision of horrifying powers, causing wave after wave of massive tsunamis.

"Let them fight. We'll go sweep the place clean. Don't use your Nightglow Flower, just follow me," Tian Xun said, holding onto Lin Shen's hand and sneaking toward the castle.

The power of the night tried to infiltrate Lin Shen's body, but was repelled by the strength coming from Tian Xun's fingers.

The two sneaked into the castle. Inside, battles raged everywhere, but Tian Xun seemed to know the place like the back of her hand, avoiding all conflicts. Occasionally, someone stumbled upon them, but before they could see anything clearly, they were knocked out.

Soon, the two passed through many obstacles and reached the secret warehouse Chi 118 had built underneath the castle.

Lin Shen was curious how Tian Xun knew the location of the secret warehouse, but then it occurred to him, what secrets could possibly be kept from Tian Xun, who possessed the Devout Blazing Angel.

Unfortunately, Tian Xun did not have the key to open the warehouse, so they had to use brute force to break the warehouse door open.

Lin Shen watched as Tian Xun pulled out a knife-shaped Spirit Base with a blade that still shimmered with light, indicating that it was a Spirit Base of a Nirvana Being.

The edge of the blade was incredibly sharp. It took only a few strikes to slice through the Nirvana Level material-made gate that was over a meter thick.

After the two entered the warehouse, Lin Shen's eyes nearly popped out of his head.

He had thought that the resources he had desperately bargained for from Chi 118 were already extremely valuable.

But compared to the items here, those resources were simply insignificant.

Tian Xun gestured with her hand, and the shell-like Pet Capsule gradually shrank before returning to her hand.

"Let's go to An 117's place. I hope we're not too late," Tian Xun said as she pulled Lin Shen along.

The battle outside continued with the Nirvana Beings' sea battle causing fearful waves. The turbulent waters created huge swells, and in the darkness of the night, it was unclear who the combatants were.

However, Lin Shen heard a peculiar sound of a musical instrument, similar to a piano but slightly different. Not being knowledgeable about music, he couldn't discern what instrument it was.

After leaving the castle, Tian Xun took Lin Shen straight to An 117's, where the fighting was even more ferocious than at Chi 118's.

Tian Xun didn't pay any attention to the combatants, instead, stealthily led Lin Shen into the city and located An 117's secret warehouse once more.

Lin Shen thought he had been ruthless enough, but he found Tian Xun to be even more so. An 117's secret warehouse was plundered by her without leaving a single strand of hair behind.

Once the great heist was completed, Tian Xun took Lin Shen back to Paradise Island, showing no interest in meddling with the ongoing battle.

During that battle, Lin Shen heard the sound of percussion instruments and guessed that it might be Ye Yue or Ye Yun involved, though he couldn't be sure which one.

After the two quietly returned to the Paradise Palace, Tian Xun first made herself known and dealt with some matters on Paradise Island.

Then, she took Lin Shen to her room, where they dumped out all the looted goods, which piled up everywhere like small hills.

Lin Shen was dazzled by the colorful array of high-level items, many of which he had never seen or heard of before.

"I've already obtained the resources the Heavenly Emperor needs; the mission is complete. Keep these for yourself," Lin Shen replied, staring blankly at Tian Xun.

Tian Xun picked up an item and tossed it to Lin Shen, her smile beaming, "Simply completing the mission isn't enough. As an outsider wanting to establish a foothold among the Celestial Race, you only have two paths to choose from. You have no chance of taking the path of the Celestial Court, and it's not suited to your temperament.
