Chapter 1458: Game Over

When the last traces of starlight entered the chaotic streams, Yu Tang’s figure slowly disappeared from where he stood to face Shang Xia.

The void regained its calm as though the exchange didn’t happen. The only thing left that could prove the pursuit of Shang Xia was the spatial debris that was left behind after the palm conjured by Yu Tang landed.

However... Even with Shang Xia’s departure, the incident was far from over. The next second, he discovered the void before him shattering as the chaotic streams were suppressed and controlled by something. It turned into a giant vortex and started to drag him within.

“Such a huge spatial vortex... To be able to sustain for so long... How can something like this exist in the chaotic streams?” Shang Xia thought to himself and understood that someone had made a move. However, from the looks of it, it wasn’t as though they were targeting him. Otherwise, the vortex would have appeared right above him and swallowed him directly. Instead, it felt like he had unintentionally barged into a battle somewhere.

Oh shit! There are experts battling in the chaotic streams!

Shang Xia realized what was happening, and he quickly thought back to his encounter in the chaotic streams outside the Essence Ling World.

Before he could do anything else, he noticed a giant palm condensing above the spatial vortex.

Yu Tang probably didn’t chase him into the chaotic streams as he was afraid that there would be even more experts hiding out there and he would be lured into a trap.

Shang Xia continued to think about the implications of what was happening and wondered who created the spatial vortex to stop the giant palm.

In the chaotic streams, Shang Xia’s senses might be twisted, but he could still see the giant palm crashing down on the vortex. With the clash, the palm and spatial vortex started to grind away at each other, causing powerful fluctuations to sweep across the void. Shang Xia, who was caught up in it, was swept up by the storm and he disappeared from view.
