Chapter 1450: Little Sneaky Boy Back At It Again

Shang Xia had seen a True Immortal falling, and he was taken aback by the heavenly phenomena that was produced.

“However, all of them seem to have forgotten something... With the death of Sage Qi Jing, the energy contained in his body would return to the world. The Essence Xing World would be the greatest benefactor from the sudden influx of energy!” Shang Xia already came up with a plan on what to do. From what he was seeing, his plan didn’t interfere with what Gong Zhuo wanted to do. Whatever it was, he would be able to interfere with the Chen Dynasty Emperor and the Qi Dynasty Emperor anyway. After all, if he messed with the World Origin Source, they would have to use it while ascending and he would thus be able to screw up their plans.

The conflict between the emperors of the dynasties was something they were allowing to happen. After all, Qi Jing might also have had a hand in that before he died.

Shang Xia wouldn’t expect Qi Jing not to leave behind anything after knowing that his life was about to come to an end. In fact, everything that was happening was probably something Qi Jing had fought for before he died.

If Gong Zhuo and other True Immortals tried to fuck with the process, they might very well draw some unwanted attention to their factions!

The banner made from the heavenly screen fragment wrapped itself around him, allowing him to conceal his identity as he flew towards the central continents of the Essence Xing World. When he arrived, he could feel the heightened intensity of the effects after Qi Jing died.

He didn’t stop for too long. Instead, he turned to another direction and flew to a certain location where the borders of the 3 dynasties met. Due to its location, it was a buffer region the 3 dynasties agreed upon.

A buffer region was one way to call it, but it actually maintained a strange sense of balance. Every dynasty wanted to control it, but none of them were able to claim it for their own. Everything was chaotic there, forming a strange equilibrium.

With the death of Qi Jing, the peace of the region that was called the ‘Dynasties Edge’, was broken!

As several people with hidden intentions started to cause trouble, a massive war was waged outside the Qi Dynasty Dao Field and the chaos quickly spread to the Dynasties Edge.

Shang Xia successfully entered the chaotic region because of that and with his current cultivation, as long as he didn’t wish for anyone to discover him, there was practically no one who could notice his tracks.

What was more, a good portion of the Essence Xing World had been drawn to the battle that would determine the control of the Qi Dynasty Dao Field. The trouble brewing in Dynasties Edge couldn’t catch their attention. However, that was exactly where Shang Xia wanted to make his move. He would take the chance when the Sages’ senses were dulled due to the powerful fluctuations of the World Origin Source to openly steal world origin!

If anyone else was in his shoes, creating some sort of connection to the World Origin Source might not be difficult, but controlling and moving it as he wished wouldn’t be possible. In order to do something like that, one would need a Holy Land at the very least, or some sort of powerful grand formation. It wasn’t something that could be created in an instant.

However, that was Shang Xia, the monster who had the Crimson Soul Tablet!

Using his Five Element Movement Art to hide hundreds of feet in the earth, he laid down some simple concealment formations before raising his hand to tap his glabella. A small phantom of a tablet appeared, and it was 3 inches or so long. He didn’t hesitate to stab it straight in the ground below.

Shang Xia’s divine soul sank into the world through the tablet, and in an instant, he felt the mighty existence of the World Origin Source.
