On a remote island overseas, Vera was immersed in her work. Suddenly, a series of beeps echoed from the forum’s backend. Vera ignored the notifications, choosing to finish the task at hand before addressing them.

A few minutes later, Vera finally opened the forum’s backend.

"[Hidden Xu Family] vouching for someone to join the forums? That’s a rare occurrence," Vera muttered. She had several sources of information in Cathay, and the [Hidden Xu Family] was one of them.

However, the family rarely operated in the outside world, and the information they provided was usually of average value. Despite that, Vera valued the [Hidden Xu Family]. As an ancient family from Cathay with unparalleled influence, they were worth keeping as allies. After all, one could never have too many friends.

"Let’s see… Hank from Dragonbane Mountain. Half-Step Grandmaster. Not bad," Vera said with a nod of approval.

While she couldn’t say if Hank would ever reach the Grandmaster realm, being a Half-Step Grandmaster already made him noteworthy.

"Thirty years old, stronger than the average AA-rank, and even has a chance to reach S-rank. Promising." Vera’s gaze landed on the reason for his application, and she burst out laughing. "Hahaha!"

Her laughter echoed through the room as she exclaimed, "Princess, you sure do have a lot of enemies!" It turned out this Hank intended to buy every piece of information available on [Princess].

"Still, I’m not entirely certain about his intentions for buying the information. Let’s find out." If he turned out to be an enemy of [Princess], Vera would sell him around 80% of the information. Otherwise, the negotiations would end there.

‘I can’t afford to cause any more unnecessary complications,’ she thought to herself.

Vera had already dispatched Vera 1, 2, and 3, along with two S-ranked and ten AA-ranked operatives, to track down Yaeger in Cathay. The last thing she needed was more complications.

Selling information to the wrong person could disrupt her plans, leading to catastrophic losses.

Before long, a response arrived.

"As expected, he’s an enemy. Not bad. A Half-Step Grandmaster should be more than capable of handling Princess. Sigh. The last guy from the Ye Family probably got taken out by Ronald. What a waste. Hank will likely face the same fate, but at least he’ll deal some damage to Ronald’s already crumbling body. That’ll make things much easier for David and Pete. As long as that old man is alive, I’ll never sleep soundly!"

Unbeknownst to her, Vera now despised Ronald even more than she hated Yaeger. To Vera, this ‘old dog’ had sabotaged her plans time and again, and he was the sole reason Princess was still alive.

To make matters worse, her [Doppelgänger] had been taken by Ronald as well. The mere thought of Ronald doing unspeakable things to her [Doppelgänger] sent a shudder through Vera’s body, chilling her to the bone.

An overwhelming urge to travel to Cathay and take Ronald’s head surged through her.

"Hank, is it? Let’s see how you handle that old dog first." A grim smile spread across Vera’s otherwise delicate face. Without hesitation, she sent out most of the requested information.

The files included a detailed map of the area surrounding Jade Flower Garden. "I hope you manage to surprise me," she murmured.

After dispatching the information, Vera reclined on her plush bed, a maniacal smile playing on her lips. Unbeknownst to her, a pair of invisible eyes had been watching her every move.

Meanwhile, in the [City of Chaos]…

"Master, your information is priced at a million US dollars," Little Blue said, tapping a virtual screen with a sly smile.

"My life is worth much more than that," Yaeger replied with a wry smile.

"Master, Vera just sold your information to Hank," Little Blue remarked casually, effortlessly multitasking as she monitored the data and chatted with Yaeger. For Little Blue, tasks like these were as simple as breathing. Ȓа

"Vera sure knows how to make money. She raked in millions with the snap of her fingers," Yaeger said with a sigh of realization.

"From now on, she’ll be your personal moneymaking tool, Master," Little Blue added nonchalantly.

"Uh…" Yaeger was momentarily at a loss for words. Although Yaeger had considered gathering all the Veras together, she had never envisioned turning Vera into her own moneymaking machine.

‘Looks like it’s doable… Wait a second, isn’t Little Blue stronger than Vera? Why should I look anywhere else?’ Yaeger mused.

The thought made Yaeger stare intently at Little Blue, whose playful demeanor quickly shifted to nervous trembling.

‘But no, that won’t work. Little Blue has to monitor the changes on Aqua Blue Star. She can’t waste her time on these tasks,’ Yaeger reasoned.

Yaeger’s primary concern lay with the series of disruptions that would inevitably arise as the planet continued its awakening. Such issues would likely upend everything she knew about the future. By then, her advantage of being reborn would be rendered meaningless.

"By the way, Little Blue, can you track Hank’s location through Vera’s site?" Yaeger asked. Choosing to set aside her worries about the planet’s awakening, Yaeger turned her attention to the problem at hand.

There was no way Yaeger would allow Hank to bring chaos to Jade Flower Garden.

"Easy-peasy! I’ll handle it right now!" Little Blue cheerfully flicked her fingers, effortlessly tracing Hank’s phone within moments. As long as Hank kept his phone, he would remain under constant surveillance.

"As I thought—he’s at the Glory Entertainment Center. These people never seem to learn their lesson," Yaeger said, shaking her head in exasperation.

"Master, that Entertainment Center rakes in tons of cash every day. Why don’t we drop by and collect some protection money one of these days?" Little Blue suggested, her eyes sparkling mischievously.

"Absolutely. This would be a righteous act, and I’m all for it," Yaeger replied, her eyes gleaming with equal mischief. Yaeger prided herself on never earning money through illegitimate means.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Even during the most desperate moments of her previous life, Yaeger had never stooped to breaking the law for money. But if it was framed as rightful compensation, she was more than happy to go along with it.

"Strictly speaking, this isn’t protection money," Little Blue corrected herself. "They provoked you first, Master. You’re just claiming compensation for emotional damages!" Realizing ‘protection money’ might sound improper, Little Blue quickly adjusted her phrasing.

Hearing this, Yaeger couldn’t help but feel like she was, indeed, the wronged party.

"Sounds good. Once this is all sorted, I’ll collect my compensation from them," Yaeger said with a grin, giving Little Blue a thumbs up.

As the two discussed the finer details of their ‘compensation plan’…

Meanwhile, in the lavishly decorated office of the Glory Entertainment Center…

"As expected of the E-Fairy. Her information-gathering skills are top-notch," Hank remarked, staring intently at the data on his phone. He couldn’t help but admire the prowess of this S-ranked Transcendent.

"When do you plan to take action, Master Zhao?" Leroy, now seated, asked suddenly.

"Once I’ve thoroughly reviewed the information and studied her combat style, I’ll set out to end her miserable life," Hank declared, his tone grim.

‘He’s so meticulous despite his overwhelming strength. This Hank is truly formidable,’ Leroy thought to himself, impressed.

Leroy sighed internally, glancing at the trembling Doug, whose twisted expression and fiery gaze seemed ready to ignite. He could only shake his head. If Doug hadn’t started this mess in the first place, would he have ended up like this? He was merely reaping the consequences of his own actions.

‘In the end, it’s better to get rid of that [Princess],’ Leroy thought, wincing as a sharp pain shot through his chest once more.

Meanwhile, Stanley and Mack remained in a daze, unable to fully recover from what they had witnessed. The image of Hank effortlessly obliterating a large marble coffee table with a single palm strike lingered vividly in their minds, leaving them utterly overwhelmed.

To the cousins, the experience had been a moment of enlightenment, exposing them to a world they had never imagined.

Half an hour later…

"Hah! All her weaknesses have been laid bare before me. I’ll take her down in three moves—no more!" Hank stood abruptly, his eyes gleaming with confidence as a victorious smile spread across his face.
