The night of the Winter Festival gala competition was extraordinarily lively.

Floating vessels and drones flew across the sky, with numerous cameras focused on the bustling arena below, broadcasting tonight's grandeur live to the entire Star Domain.

The annual Winter Festival gala often ranks as the Star Domain's highest-rated program of the year. People gather in front of screens to watch the vibrant young men and women battle fervently on stage, exuding their proud flashes of brilliance. They are the hope of the Star Domain's future, the objects of countless admirations and worship.

The sweeping beams of light moved back and forth, and waves of excited noise rose and fell. The audience holding various signs cheered and screamed to such an extent that one might mistake this for a concert venue, though tonight that was pretty much the case.

Tilan sat amidst the clamor of the spectator stand, surrounded by students from Edith Academy. Edith Academy had its designated seating area at the venue, a privilege belonging to the top six academies of the Star Domain.

The predominantly black uniforms of Edith Academy were slightly complex in design, yet perfectly fitting, imparting a proper and fitting impression.

"Now, please welcome the students from Thunder Edge Academy to enter the stage!" the voice of the on-site host erupted like a volcanic explosion, igniting the cheers and emotions within the arena.

The girl felt the noise around her ears suddenly intensify, and then she saw rows of young knights riding warhorses enter the arena. Clad in silver-blue armor, with similarly styled trappings on their horses, these knights began a slow gallop upon entering the arena, accelerating until they formed a perfectly aligned triangular spearhead. Long lances pointed skywards, then were uniformly lowered. A total of 102 knights, ablaze with electric light, dashed swiftly through the arena, resplendent and dazzling.

In the sight of this majestic and dashing performance, countless onlookers screamed, and the flash of photography incessantly flickered.

Thunder Edge Academy, ranked sixth in the Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain, is famous for cultivating noble knights. Its students primarily study the Slashing Blade Sequence and Tidal Sequence. Many graduates enter the Federal Army and become officers, high-rank mech pilots, and so on.

Minutes later, the electric glow gradually subsided, and the knights mounted on Lightning Warhorses stood neatly in one corner of the arena, after which the host cried out once again.

"A beam of light in the dark shall surely save you, now please welcome the students from Lelysia Academy to enter the stage!"

Another round of cheers resounded, and the girl's gaze, along with everyone else's, turned to a corner of the venue. As the doors opened, one by one, nuns dressed in white and holding candles entered the venue. Clad in pure white, with light veils draping their heads and white cloth covering their eyes, the candles they held were special transcendent artifacts with golden flames flickering inside. These golden flames flickered in unison, and as the nuns made their entrance, a divine aura spread forth.

As this group of nuns in the front approached completion, twenty-six 'angels' clad in white robes with blood-red edges and blood-red wings flew out. Lelysia Academy, ranked fifth in the Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain, is renowned for cultivating clergy and law enforcement personnel. Its students major in the Radiant Feather Sequence and Blood Pupil Sequence. Most graduates become priests in various locations or continue their studies at universities. After graduation, they often join the Federal Inspection Agency as investigators or judges.

After this group finished their procession, it was time for Edith Academy to be announced by the host.

Was it Edith Academy's turn? The girl felt a tinge of curiosity rise within her heart as she looked towards that corner of the venue. However, the academy's graduates are always known for their proper manners and elegant mystique.

After the host announced, blue points of flickering light appeared in the night sky of the open-air venue. As these flickering points drew closer, it became clear they were students walking in mid-air.

They wore transparent, glass-like coats with circular goggles over their eyes, displaying the flow of numerous information. The glass-like coats doubled as screens, showing various function data and glowing automatically, changing colors at will. They maintained transparency but could instantly turn into bright blocks of light.

With each step these students took, virtual data-like blue squares gathered at their feet, bearing their weight before the students continued downward until they entered the venue.

Crystal Lattice Academy, ranked third in the Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain, specializes in the Spirit Particle Sequence. Almost all of its graduates are AI experts, adept in controlling machinery and specializing in data corrosion and manipulation. It is the smallest in terms of student enrollment among the top six academies, with fewer than a hundred new students each year, yet its strength remains formidable. It consistently holds its position in the top three of the Four-leaf Crystal, competing with Swarm's Reign Academy for second place.
