A sorry ass novel with a sorry ass mc by a sorry ass author. I agree with this. Everyone keeps talking like this is top-tier comedy and the writing is great… But it really isn’t. The ‘humour’ is very juvenile and not the funny kind either. MC himself facilitates between retarded, cowardly and philosophical without much rhyme or rhythm. He himself is the cause of most of his troubles. Author clearly has no idea on when to be serious and when to be funny, so attempts at humour just felt a bit hamfisted. Comparing Bai Xiaochun to this MC is a massive disservice. BXC is a coward, but he also knows when to stand and fight. His unconventional genius leads to humourous situations and when things get serious so does BXC. Here serious situation suddenly becomes funny and vice versa. An arc abruptly ends with MC 'learning' something then he decides to do something utterly retarded cos 'lulz' then gets beat up and nearly killed again. Author is extremely shameless to even put names of Will Eternal and Spirit Blade in the synopsis. I enjoyed the novel so far but at somme point the MC became a big coward with no dignity. I understand being shameless its funny but this man just has no pride being the bitch to everyone who is a little more powerful than him, he says its background back look your master c'mon.😫 Always saying submit for now, calling himself This small cultivator to even mortals . it is better for foreigners not to write Chinese motives. there is a facade, but there is not enough Chinese spirit and color.and gg is not reborn, but simply imitates death. generally bullshit novel You are clearly lacking comprehension.You should meditate more. It’s just a novel you don’t have to get so heated. It is because this is a novel that I want it to be of quality to read it, and not some kind of sur or anecdote I’ll have to agree with you not all cultivation novels written by people not from china are good, but one I know you should check out is “journey of the fate destroying emperor”I get it, sometime I read a summary and think the story is gonna be good but ends up being trash, It’s pretty annoying. Very funny and very interesting . Mc is sorta a one trick pony and also a little bitch but it makes scenarios funny. The fighting is pretty lame and if your going to read it it’s because of what he says and what he does, along with the very interesting side characters who never fail to make the plot spicy. I would give it 8/10, only needing better fights and for the Mc to become a little bit more. Unique than his one trick. This doesn’t make his one trick uninteresting however which is what keeps it up there Only read 23 chapters, and so far it's f#cking hilarious.
