Chapter 229
‘These fools have no idea just how monstrous the Tower Master truly is!’
High Priest Langford clicked his tongue internally.
Irial Ar-Ahwin was not someone a man like Duke Quantis could even dream of opposing.
In fact, Langford wasn’t sure if the Tower Master should even be considered human.
A being capable of crushing the highest-ranking demons with a mere flick of a finger had long surpassed the boundaries of humanity.
The Tower Master had transcended the limits of human existence ages ago.
‘To think someone would dare provoke the Tower Master.’
Some fools were born to leap willingly into the flames. The nobles arrogantly seated before him, blind to their impending doom, were prime examples.
‘If I stay here, I’ll end up getting swept away with them.’
Langford began backing away, his steps cautious.
“High Priest Langford! Where do you think you’re going, being so rude—”
Flash.
The world suddenly turned blindingly white.
Boom!
A deafening roar, as if the heavens themselves had been ripped apart, echoed across the sky. It was as if a bomb had exploded nearby.
“What… what is that?!”@@novelbin@@
What do you think?
