I Became a Murderer in the Academy.

Chapter 127

After wrapping up her connections at the academy, I headed not home but to the back alleys.

It was to gather blood before embarking on a long journey.

Once I set off on my journey, opportunities to eat would drastically decrease, so I needed to eat while I could.

I also packed several glass bottles to store the blood. These were specially enchanted bottles that would preserve the quality for a long time once filled.

They were expensive, but what did it matter? I was about to leave the Empire, and I wouldn't need them anymore. I still had plenty of money I received from the slave trader.

So, who would be the source of the blood to fill those bottles?

The Empire was a place where the knights often patrolled, so I generally avoided civilians. Usually, the targets tended to be the criminals who frequently hung around in the back alleys.

'If I’m considering the number of bottles, will one person be enough today?'@@novelbin@@

The back alleys were not part of the knights' patrol route. The area I had dismantled in the back alleys was quite large, so there would be many criminal organizations that wouldn’t be easily noticed by me.

I wasn’t familiar with every corner of the back alleys.

The area where I mostly operated was the ruins known as Dusty Lane. It was the first place I lived after entering the Empire.

And the total area of the back alleys was larger than I had thought.

When I had rampaged that day, the territory I had dismantled wasn’t limited to just Dusty Lane. A wider area had been buried in ruins surrounding it.

If there were criminal hideouts, they would likely be located there.
