How to Have a Baby Secretly

Chapter 106

"If it's too much for you..."

As Kang Jinwook just stared at him in silence, Sunwoo tried to retract what he had said. However, before he could finish, Kang Jinwook interrupted him.

"No. Let's go."

Without saying anything else, Kang Jinwook grabbed Sunwoo's hand and started walking toward the door. Sunwoo, caught off guard, followed behind him, and his lips curled up slightly.

As they left the officetel and stood in front of the crosswalk, the brightly lit bookstore across the street came into view. They were still holding hands, and there were no words exchanged between them. Sunwoo cast a sly glance at Kang Jinwook, who was lost in thought.

"When you found out you were pregnant, didn’t you have any doubts?"

Kang Jinwook suddenly asked while staring at the red traffic light. Just as Sunwoo was sneaking a look at him, he was caught off guard by the question. He wasn't surprised by the question itself but by the fact that Kang Jinwook had asked it at all.

"Strictly speaking, it’s not your child."

"Ah, right."@@novelbin@@

Sunwoo also looked at the traffic light across the street. The signal turned green. Kang Jinwook released his hold on Sunwoo's hand and naturally wrapped his arm around Sunwoo's waist. Sunwoo flinched at the warmth on his back and, as the gentle pressure guided him forward, he took a step.

"Of course, I had doubts. But, other thoughts didn’t come up. My mother raised me alone, and she never regretted it, despite all the hardship she endured. I grew up like that, so how could I just abandon the child who is now tied to me by fate?"

Because his steps were slow due to his heavy body, the green light began to flicker before they even reached the sidewalk.
