With that, the Wolf King took the lead, flying into the air and heading toward his territory. The other demonic beasts quickly followed him.

"Master, that Wolf King…" Han Yue hesitated after the beasts left, sensing something odd about the Wolf King, though she couldn’t quite pinpoint it.

"Han Yue, rest assured. I’ve already disciplined him," Gu He said, not elaborating on the ancient puppet-seeding spell.

"Han Yue, I used a Void Jade Talisman to arrive here, but I can only remain for half an hour. Before your training began, I promised that over the next two years, you could summon me three times to impart skills. If you wish to receive my teachings now, I can bring my true body here immediately," Gu He explained briefly, given the time constraint.

After hearing this, Han Yue thought for a moment. "Master, over the past few months, my progress hasn’t been very significant. However, since coming to this mountain range, my strength has improved greatly. If I am to receive your teachings, I’d like to wait for two more months."

"Two months, then?" Gu He murmured, not saying much else. He respected his disciples’ decisions and wouldn’t interfere unnecessarily. Besides, given her current state, her capacity to absorb teachings was still limited.

Through the ancient puppet-seeding spell, Gu He had also gleaned some of the Wolf King's memories and now knew Han Yue's exact location. Based on his own pace of travel, he would likely reach this mountain range in two months.

"Ah Zi? A good name! Its strength is indeed impressive!" Gu He smiled, patting the Roc’s sturdy claws. "Next time I come, I’ll bring you some treats!"

"Ah Zi, hurry and thank Master!" Han Yue urged with excitement.

Gu He mentioned bringing treats for the Purple Demon Roc, which would undoubtedly be treasures, making Han Yue beam with joy.

The Purple Demon Roc understood Han Yue’s words, and its massive head nodded up and down. From its beak, a tender, childlike female voice stammered, “Th-thank…you!”

Although the Purple Demon Roc had reached the sixth rank, it was still young and hadn’t yet taken human form. Its speech was clumsy and immature.

Moments later, under Han Yue and the Purple Demon Roc's watchful eyes, Gu He’s figure abruptly dissolved into the surrounding air.

At the edge of the Black-Corner Region, atop the Black-Scaled Frost Jiao, Yun Yun leaned gently against Gu He’s shoulder and asked softly, “Are we traveling to Zhongzhou as you just mentioned?”

“Yes, it’s on the way anyway. I’ll take the chance to guide that girl a bit,” Gu He replied with a nod.

Gu He’s true body had been narrating the events from his projection with Han Yue to Yun Yun, so she was already aware of the situation.

Instead of entering a major city to use a spatial wormhole to reach Zhongzhou, Gu He chose to travel at a leisurely pace, riding the eighth-rank Black-Scaled Frost Jiao, which steadily carried them toward Zhongzhou.
