Ascension of the Monster Queen

The demon looked out of the balcony and his eyes glowed slightly red, wondering who it was and why they were out like that.

'Now, now, is there really a need to be more than worried here?' The demon thought as the person left the lawn, heading somewhere and at the same time, the demon disappeared.

Later that night, while Nessa was sleeping, she began seeing things within her dream and she swallowed as she felt a familiar presence and wondered who it was that she was sensing and just then, she felt a hand around her waist and her eyes widened when she felt someone was breathing behind her.

Nessa was a bit confused and she gripped her blanket and squeezed it tightly as long hair fell on her shoulder.

She glanced at it as the person leaned over her shoulder with a slightly warm yet cold presence and her eyes narrowed as she looked but couldn't see his face.

"Who is it?" She mumbled in her sleep as a form of energy surrounded the area that she was in at the time and she looked at the person then grabbed onto his hand and he glanced at her with piercing eyes that were glowing and she sighed as she looked at them.

"Who are you?" She asked and just then her body began glowing slightly and a slight smile appeared on the person's face, her eyes narrowed as she was about to grab the person's hand but at the same time, she heard someone calling out her name.

Nessa flung up from her sleep and her eyes widened when she saw glowing eyes, staring down at her and her eyes narrowed as she sat up.

"Hey, are you okay?" The demon asked and she grabbed him by his collar, pulling him to sit on the bed and his eyes widened as she leaned in closer to him.

"Your eyes..." She mumbled and he placed his hand on hers and she flinched then lowered her head.

"Are you okay?" He asked and she gritted her teeth as she thought about the dream that she saw while she was sleeping and he peeked at her then she sighed.

"Yeah, I am okay, just been having weird dreams lately, it's like someone bloody reaching out to me and it's starting to get really irritating," She said as she tightly gripped his clothes and gnashed her teeth then his eyes narrowed.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

"People get those kinds of dreams sometimes, it could actually mean something sometimes, then other times, nothing, if you think someone is reaching out to you and if you see the person's face, maybe that's exactly what it is and you might bump into that person and you will know if it's true or it could just be a random dream that has nothing to do with anything, you understand right?" He asked.

"Yeah, I understand very well, damn it, it feels real, well I am just going to ignore it, I have enough to deal with right now and I am not looking to add to the list unless I finish what I came here for," She responded then looked at him and he tilted his head and she released his clothes.

"I am sorry," She said.

"It's fine, I came here because I sensed something, you were glowing a little as well so I had to wake you," He replied and she smiled a little.

"I see, then, thank you," She said then he got up from the bed and glanced at her as she laid back.

"You are welcome, you should go back to sleep, we are going to be busy," He replied and she exhaled deeply then glanced at him.

"You are right, I will go back to sleep, good night," She said.

"Good night," He replied then left and she stretched off before closing her eyes, while thinking about what the demon said about her dream and after a few minutes of thinking, Nessa fell back asleep, without any similar dreams disturbing her.

The next morning, when Nessa woke up, she wiped her eyes then checked the time, she sighed when she saw it then got out of the bed and stretched off.

'I wonder what's ahead of us today?' She thought before going to grab her clothes then she went to freshen up, since she didn't want to be late.

A little while after, when Nessa finished taking her bath, she was about to change into her clothes, when she looked in the mirror and noticed a specific part on her back that looked as though it was shimmering and wondered why it was like that.

'Hey, is something wrong with me?' She asked.

[No, your body is in perfect shape, I keep a check on it, your energy flow is fine and everything seems to be stable for now though some of your abilities may be growing, other than that, there is nothing more,]

"I see, then I guess that's nothing to worry about, also, Kurson... Is there no way I can get in touch with him?" She asked as she changed into her clothes.

[As of now, no, but you are growing in power which means a very reliable and convenient ability will be unlocked soon.]

"So there is no way, he and I need to talk about this, I will just have to wait for now and I will keep on pushing myself forward, let's see what more I can do, I am a leader I need to reach my full potential," She said.

"Yeah and with time you will, most of your abilities have an extension, another way to use them, you have a lot more to grow, you are only halfway there.]

Nessa smiled a little after hearing that then she left her room and as she was walking in the hallway, she bumped into the demon and he looked at her then they greeted each other good morning.

"Hey, I heard that a few of the council members will be here early today, earlier than expected," He said and she glanced at him with her eyes narrowed, wondering if anything is going to happen on their side.

"That's not the only thing, there is going to be another test sooner than they think," Someone added and when they turned around, they saw it was the king and he smiled as he approached them.
