Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Sword Demon entered the pathway and appeared at the forest side. Here, it was like paradise… beautiful rivers, waterfalls all around. The trees were tall, and the leaves were bright.

In front of him, Sword Demon saw the human.

The human looked at Sword Demon's giant body in shock. "What are you?" the human asked, backing away in fear.

"I'm a demon… I'm just here to teach you some things," Sword Demon said. Behind him, a one-meter-tall and five-meter-long golden dragon emerged.

"Raar!" the golden dragon roared as the human fell to the ground.

"Relax," Sword Demon said to the dragon. The dragon obeyed and backed away.

"It's been a thousand years, and this dragon hasn't changed a bit… what type of bloodline is this?" Sword Demon thought with a frown.

"Stand up, human," Sword Demon told the human on the ground. With fear, the human stood up. Looking at the human's shaking legs made Sword Demon grin. Sword Demon shrank, transforming into his human form.

"You should be able to process this now," Sword Demon said with a smile.

"Kai… Kai… Kai," Muchen called multiple times before Kai's eyes returned to normal.

"Kai… are you okay?" Muchen asked.

"I… erm… I don't know," Kai struggled to steady himself, his body swaying as Muchen held him.

"Muchen… where are we?" Kai asked, feeling dizzy.

"We're at the library. What's wrong with you? What did you see? Why were your eyes black?" Muchen asked with a frown.

"I don't understand what I saw… it was like I was another being… I was fighting with someone, and we destroyed a planet," Kai said in awe.

"A planet?" Muchen murmured. "That's a bit strong," Muchen thought.

"I have some techniques here… let's go. It's about time I told you somethings," Muchen said solemnly.

Kai stood up straight and nodded as he and Muchen left the library.

In a few minutes, they reached their house.

Muchen entered Kai's house.

"Muchen… what did you want to give me?" Kai asked, his breathing irregular.

"Just some cultivation techniques, but first tell me… what's wrong? What happened?" Muchen asked .

"That… Kai, it seems you're the reincarnation of a strong being," Muchen said with a smile.

"Meaning I was once a powerhouse like that?" Kai asked in shock.

"Most likely… you're awakening your memories," Muchen said.

"Oh… can it happen at any time?" Kai asked, thinking of the future. If he was in a life-and-death battle and this happened, he might be killed.

"No… it happens when you're most relaxed. That's when you're ready to assimilate the huge memory," Muchen explained.

"I see… and you… who are you, really?" Kai asked.

The room grew colder as Muchen frowned.

"I'm also a reincarnation of a strong powerhouse… something akin to rebirth because I have all my memories intact," Muchen finally said, easing the tension a bit.

"Hmmm, I wonder if I'll recognize you again after receiving the memories… will my character change?" Kai asked.

"Most likely… but I'll always be your brother," Muchen said with a silly smile on his face.

"Thank you. So tell me… what technique do you want to give me?" Kai asked.

"Oh, that… I have three that are monstrous. I didn't want to give them to you before, but now that I know you're the reincarnation of a strong powerhouse, I can show them to you. Choose one," Muchen said as three parcels floated up.

"Nine Moon Celestial Cultivation Technique"

"Asura War God Cultivation Technique"

"Chaotic Abyssal Cultivation Technique"

Kai automatically knew the names of these cultivation techniques when he saw them. Each resonated with him. He realized he could cultivate them.

"Remember… these three are top cultivation techniques. They're enough for you to reach the immortal realm and even the highest realm; after all, they are immortal emperor techniques," Muchen said with a smile.

"What… are they that strong?" Kai asked, unfazed.

"Strong? That's an understatement; they're at the end of cultivation in the immortal realm," Muchen replied, a grin on his face.

"Oh, I see… but won't people recognize these techniques?" Kai asked.

"Well, the thing is… these techniques have an immortal realm aura… this world could be disintegrated with their aura, but they're quite docile," Muchen said.

"Docile… they're alive?" Kai asked in shock.

"Alive… ha… not quite… they've been tamed by our ancestors in my clan… anyone who's part of my family can use them," Muchen said with a smile.

"But I'm not part of your family, though," Kai said.

"Cough… cough…" Muchen coughed with a shy expression.

"I'm just trying to be like those ancestors," Muchen said in a low voice.

"Actually, anyone can use them, but they have to choose you first. Some cultivation techniques, though, choose everyone. For example, the Chaot… wait, Kai… what are you doing?" Muchen asked as he looked at Kai.

"Choosing a cultivation technique, of course," Kai said with a smile as he picked the last one.

Suddenly, the parcel entered Kai's head as his body started morphing. One requirement to cultivate the Chaotic Abyssal Technique is having the Abyssal bloodline (a normal demon's bloodline). However, inside the parcel lay drops of that bloodline.

Boom…

The blood rushed into Kai's body, attempting to change it, but Kai possessed a stronger bloodline—the bloodline of the primordial demon.

The other drops were consumed by Kai's bloodline as the cultivation started running.

That's when Kai realized what this cultivation technique was about. He had to kill to advance.

Every being killed made him stronger, and his cultivation level increased.

Boom…

Kai felt a barrier being broken as his strength increased multiple times over.

"This strength…" Kai said in surprise as he felt his body. He sensed a strange energy flowing through his body, following a specific path.

His meridian had opened. "Congratulations on finally becoming a cultivator," Muchen said with a frown.

"Hm," Kai nodded.

"I can't believe he chose that and survived without being controlled into becoming a demon that kills alone. I need to reevaluate his strength. He might be a very strong powerhouse in the immortal realm. Is he a loose cultivator?" Muchen pondered with a frown.

"Four years…" Mark muttered, his expression indifferent. The Hans had been alive because of what Void did. He created a war with the Angel clan. While fighting the demon race, the angels were too busy to care about them.
