A Demon Lord's Tale: Dungeons, Monster Girls, and Heartwarming Bliss

Chapter 571.1

What did the Beast Dream Of?

Although Shii and Sakuya were crying hard, I was happy that we had successfully reunited.

I was also relieved to hear that they were not injured at all, but I could not ask them what had happened because even Shii had started crying, let alone Sakuya.

I waited patiently for her to calm down, and after a while I was finally able to ask her what had happened… The sheer volume of information left us scratching our heads.

“This is… a divine sword… right?” (Yuki)

“The same as the one you have?” (Lefi)

I muttered to myself as I looked at the battered sword in my hand.

The texture of the bone, the tremendous pressure it exerts. There was no doubt about it.

It was the same as the divine spear and the divine staff.

I never thought I would see one in such condition.

…I remembered the shadow picture of what had happened in the Divine Age, which was shown to me by the God, Ruin, who was inside the divine spear that I was holding.

The one overseeing the divine sword was, I believe, the God of the demon race. He was the God who started a war with other Gods for the sake of love.

The fact that this was here suggested that this place was once that God’s territory.

And the accessory Shii was wearing seemed to be made of what appeared to be fangs or claws.

Watchdog bracelet: When the owner is in danger, a magic altar will appear to protect them. A symbol of a solitary beast that only opened its heart to its master, but has now allowed it to open up to its friends.

It was as if Lefi’s fangs or claws were used to create an accessory, such an overwhelming feeling of power, and moreover, this incomprehensible ability…

The one from whose claws or fangs this accessory was made was probably at least half as powerful as Lefi.

Even if the creature was not as powerful as the Lefi… judging from this accessory, I could assume that it could at least demonstrate enough power to reach a third of that of her combat ability. So rather than calling it a national treasure, it would be more of a lost technology.

Well, this one was just an accessory, for better or worse, so as long as Shii took good care of it and didn’t show it off too much, it was fine… The problem, however, was the sword.

The weapons of the Divine Series were the most powerful weapons in this world, and anyone who possessed one should never tell others about it.

The fact that it could slay even the world’s most powerful dragon race easily should convey the danger of the weapon.

“…Did that monster called Mukuro uncle say anything about this sword?” (Yuki)

“Yes, this is for Sakuya. He wants me to give it to him when he grows up. He also said that it was a powerful sword and that he shouldn’t use it recklessly.” (Shii) Ꞧ

For Sakuya, huh?n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

“What else?” (Yuki)

“Hmmm… This sword is called Hell Daze. Scripture says: Show me your courage, my sword.” (Shii)

This…

Scripture would be the words used to change the weapon of the Divine Series to their third form.

I didn’t know what the consequences of possessing this Divine Weapon would be. And just like me, the adult group also wondered the same thing.

Going back for a bit, it all happened when we were exploring. After we safely entered that special space and were about to look for Shii and Sakuya, the surrounding atmosphere suddenly changed, and we found ourselves back in the normal world.

We were all wondering if we made a mistake and had been kicked out of the space once more, but… Before we knew it, Shii and Sakuya suddenly appeared standing in the alleyway in the back, crying.

Shii was holding what seemed to be a divine sword and some kind of special accessory.
